Why traditional money work falls short
Mar 31, 2025
One of my clients brought her journal into our session... a beautiful, detailed journal filled with incredible insights.
But when I asked her, “Have you felt the sadness you’re writing about?”
She paused.
“No one’s ever asked me that before.”
And she hadn’t. She hadn’t let herself feel the very emotions she so beautifully articulated.
Because we live in a world that rewards thinking… But forgets that our feelings hold the real transformation.
Awareness doesn’t equal integration. And insight isn’t a stand-in for embodiment.
Look, I’m not saying journaling or mindset work is useless. It’s not.
But for most women I work with—smart, ambitious, self-aware women—it’s not the thing that actually shifts their financial reality.
Why?
Because their nervous system is still wired for survival. Not for overflow.
We’ve been taught to be the helper. The peacekeeper. The one who doesn’t ask for too much.
So even if you want the $20k month… Your body might still flinch at the idea of being “too much” for charging more.
You say you want wealth—but your nervous system remembers a time when money was a source of stress, or guilt, or danger. So it pulls you back into what's familiar.
We think if we just keep doing more—more affirmations, more content, more strategy—we’ll break through.
But in truth?
Doing more is often just a way to avoid feeling more.
And this is where I get fired up. Because I see brilliant women blaming themselves…
For not being able to implement business advice that never considered their capacity.
For spinning their wheels when no one ever asked what was going on underneath the lack of results.
And I’m here to say: It’s not your fault.
But it is your responsibility to do something different now that you know better.
💸 You know you’re meant for more, but every time you try to level up financially, something stops you. It’s not that you’re bad with money, it’s that your nervous system is stuck in survival mode.
I get it! That's why I help women just like you rewire their nervous system’s response to wealth, so they can stop living in financial fear, break the feast-or-famine cycle, and finally feel safe earning, keeping, and growing their money.
Because financial confidence isn’t just about knowing what to do... it’s about being able to hold wealth without stress, guilt, or panic. And when your body stops seeing money as a threat? Everything changes.
