Money Struggles Aren’t About Money

Feb 10, 2025

Ever feel like no matter what you do, you just can’t seem to break through to the next level in your business? Maybe you’re doing all the “right” things... investing in strategy, showing up, putting in the hours.. but something invisible is still holding you back.

What if I told you it’s not your pricing, your marketing, or your offers?

It’s your money identity.

The version of you that exists right now.. the one who struggles with money, who hesitates to claim her worth, who feels stuck.. is simply wearing an outdated identity. And just like an old school uniform that no longer fits, it’s time to take it off.

Think back to when you were a kid, getting fitted for a school uniform. It was always too big at first, right? Then, as you grew, it fit perfectly for a while... until suddenly, it was way too tight.

That’s exactly how identity works.

When you were growing up, you didn’t consciously choose who you were. Your identity was shaped by:

  • The messages you absorbed about money, success, and self-worth.
  • The behaviours you were rewarded (or punished) for.
  • The cultural and family conditioning that told you, This is who we are.

For a while, that identity worked. It helped you survive, fit in, and stay safe.

But now it’s too tight. It’s suffocating. And if you want to step into the version of you who creates effortless wealth and ease in her business, you have to shed the identity that’s keeping you small.

Your identity isn’t fixed. It’s conditioned.

If you grew up hearing:

💬 “Money is hard to make.”

💬 “Rich people are greedy.”

💬 “You have to work yourself to exhaustion to succeed.”

Then guess what? Your subconscious absorbed those beliefs as FACTS. And your entire nervous system now operates from that programming.

That’s why no matter how much strategy you apply, if your subconscious identity says, We don’t make money. We just survive, then your actions will always keep you in survival mode.

But..

You are not stuck with the identity you were given.

Step 1: Identify the Money Stories You’ve Been Wearing

The first step in shifting your identity is awareness.

Ask yourself:

  • What did I learn about money growing up?
  • How did my family talk about rich people?
  • What patterns do I repeat in business (undercharging, overdelivering, avoiding sales)?

Once you see the patterns, you can start questioning them.

Just because you were conditioned to believe something doesn’t mean it’s true.

Step 2: Recognise the Fear of Outgrowing Your Old Identity

Shedding an old identity is like stepping into a new outfit. It feels foreign at first. Maybe even uncomfortable.

Because the truth is, sometimes the fear isn’t about failing. It’s about who you might become if you succeed.

  • What if you actually become wealthy? Will your family judge you?
  • What if you stop being the “nice girl” who never rocks the boat?
  • What if success changes your relationships?

This is why so many women subconsciously hold themselves back—not because they aren’t capable, but because stepping into their power feels like stepping into the unknown.

But here’s the secret: The real you—the one who is abundant, powerful, and limitless—already exists. She’s just been buried under layers of outdated programming.

Step 3: Step Into the Version of You Who Already Has What You Want

The fastest way to shift your identity? Start making decisions from your future self, not your past self.

Ask:

  • How does the wealthiest, most successful version of me think?
  • What does she say yes to? What does she say no to?
  • How does she handle money, pricing, and boundaries?

Then, start acting from that energy now.

  • If she wouldn’t undercharge, you don’t undercharge.
  • If she wouldn’t stress over every investment, you don’t either.
  • If she would confidently take up space, you start doing the same.

Because the moment you start embodying that identity, reality catches up.

Step 4: Regulate Your Nervous System to Match Your New Identity

Here’s what most people don’t tell you: Your nervous system needs to feel safe receiving more money, success, and visibility.

If your body is wired for scarcity, every time you try to level up, your system will freak out—because it sees success as unsafe.

This is where nervous system regulation comes in. When you gradually expand your capacity to hold more, you stop self-sabotaging.

This is exactly why I created Regulate to Riches, a powerful program designed to help you rewire your body’s response to wealth so you can receive it without stress or guilt.

Because when you rewire your nervous system, your reality changes... fast.

You have two choices:

  1. Keep wearing the old identity—the one that keeps you stuck, small, and struggling.

  2. Step into the identity of your highest self—the one who already has the business, money, and freedom you desire.

Which version of you do you want to run your life?

Your next level isn’t about doing more. It’s about becoming the version of you who already has what you want.

And once you shift who you are, the money, success, and ease will follow.

💸 You know you’re meant for more, but every time you try to level up financially, something stops you.  It’s not that you’re bad with money, it’s that your nervous system is stuck in survival mode.

I get it! That's why I help women just like you rewire their nervous system’s response to wealth, so they can stop living in financial fear, break the feast-or-famine cycle, and finally feel safe earning, keeping, and growing their money.

Because financial confidence isn’t just about knowing what to do... it’s about being able to hold wealth without stress, guilt, or panic. And when your body stops seeing money as a threat? Everything changes.
